Chris is our Next Gen Pastor here at Cowpens First Baptist. He joined us in January of 2023. Before coming to Cowpens First Baptist, he served as the youth pastor at the Bridge of the Carolinas while finishing up his Associate degree in pastoral studies at Fruitland Bible College. He is married to Katie and they have one son named Liam. Chris is a die-hard Tennessee Vol fan, and baseball enthusiast, and loves anything to do with the outdoors. Chris’ goal as the next-gen pastor is to grow the younger generation into biblical leaders who make disciples for Christ.

One verse that sticks out to Chris the most in scripture is Philippians 1:21 “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
