God brought Landon to First Baptist in April 2026. Born and raised in Cowpens, SC, he has always had a heart for this community and desires to make a gospel impact on those within and around it.
Landon was saved at a young age; however, after many life-altering events and years of questioning, God brought him to full surrender at a Middle School FCA Retreat in 2017. A few months later, God called him into pastoral ministry. Since then, by God's grace, Landon has been pursing God's call on his life in many ministry opportunities.
Landon graduated from Gettys D. Broome High School in May 2023 and from North Greenville University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with a Minor in Biblical Languages. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity through The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has experience serving on a local church pastoral staff, and serving in FCA and various student ministries. Now, Landon serves the Cowpens family in many ways.
In his free time, Landon loves to read, write, golf, play the drums, target shoot, enjoy time with family and friends, and eat good food!
